Creating Workflows with InfoPath 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visio
Asif Rehmani Office SharePoint Server MVP
InfoPath 2010 provides the ability to pull data from databases and lists, and create forms with data validation and conditional formatting. SharePoint Designer 2010 lets you design powerful multi-step workflows centered around the form collected data. It builds upon the out-of-the-box reusable workflows and even lets you import workflow designs from Visio! In this presentation, Asif will demonstrate how these tools can come together to produce workflows which can route forms across an organization for task assignment and approval. Asif has been training and consulting on SharePoint technologies since 2004. He is a SharePoint Server MVP and MCT. Asif provides online and in-person SharePoint training publicly and in private workshops. In addition to training, Asif also runs a SharePoint videos web site which provides dozens of SharePoint related video tutorials.
